In the 19th season of Grey's Anatomy, American actor Anthony Hill takes on the role of Dr. Winston Ndugu, a black cardiothoracic surgeon, whom he describes as "a virtuous man both in and out of his profession."

Despite Hill's seamless portrayal of Dr. Ndugu, some behind-the-scenes challenges may not be apparent to the audience. Notably, the complex surgery scenes, a hallmark of the show, are often taught and explained to the actors with just ten minutes' notice before filming.

Beyond Grey's Anatomy, Anthony Hill's acting credits extend to other notable series such as Station 19, This Is Us, Watchmen (miniseries), For the People, How to Get Away with Murder, and the TV series Scream, among others.
